Are you thinking of buying a home in the future, but don't know exactly when and where you should start? Well, let me start by saying you are definitely not alone! The most difficult part of buying a home is often the process of getting started! Determining when to purchase a home is a personal choice that demands careful deliberation. This decision varies from market to market, and also from person to person, depending on where you are in your life right now. A lot of real estate agents do not do consultations unless you have already been pre-approved by a lender. But I'm not your average agent!

I am happy to meet with both renters, and homeowners, who are often just starting to think through the possibility of buying a home. These consultations are often more about the very first steps of deciding whether or not you want to purchase a home in the near future, and discussing the steps you'll need to take to make that happen! Clients have told me how helpful this is, and how much easier it makes the planning process. My goal is for every one of my homebuyers to feel 100% confident in their purchase, and I really believe that these early meetings help pave the way for future success.

I have done these consultations both with and without a lender present, depending on your needs. I've also found a good place to start is often by looking online at homes in the same monthly price range as you're currently paying in rent. I understand that there are pros and cons to both renting and buying, so if we meet and you ultimately decide this is not the right time for you to buy, I'm happy I could help with your decision. It's my job as a respo nsible realtor to provide you with the information so you can decide which option is best for you financially, and for your lifestyle.

If you're considering buy a home, even if you're just in the beginning stages, I'd be happy to meet with you to help you get started! Just email or call me at 225-229-0451.
